Judging the Seasonal Colour

Here at we asked our fans what the seasonal colour trend should be. The results were reviewed by our Affordable Design ‘Judges Award’ winning blogger, Claire Potter. Of course, colour has a huge impact on interior choices, be it Royal blue (as suggested more than once) or the refreshing citrus pallets reflecting the extravagance of summer.
The winning suggestion was grey “to contrast with this gorgeous hot summer, indoors should be cool.” Claire chose this entry for a number of reasons – firstly, grey is a great alternative neutral colour rather than white or beige tones and creates a wonderfully cool, modern feel to any interior. Secondly, it is a great foil for any bright colour (especially dark grey) and can also handle the pastel and neon trend that is currently pervading (especially if a paler grey). Our winner, Tean Porteus, will be sent a luxury Jo Malone bath oil.
