“What is design? It’s where you stand with a foot in two worlds – the world of technology and the world of people and human purposes – and you try to bring the two together.” This quote by Mitchell Kapor sums up our life of opportunity, where design inspiration and process is only as far away as our screen, tablet or mobile phone.
We’re inspired by the hundreds of passionate bloggers, app creators and authors who curate the digital landscape of interior design and we believe that it should be accessible to everyone. To do our bit, we’re giving away an iPad mini, a collection of the best design apps and some of the best books (printed and digital) suggested by our favourite bloggers.
To enter our competition, we’re asking you to nominate any object you adore that represents “affordable design”. All you have to do is click through to our Facebook page and fill in the form on the “Win iPad mini” tab.
The object you nominate could be anything from a household item, a gadget, a piece of furniture or decorative accessory. We think affordable design is about purpose as well as aesthetic and already we can see that you agree, with some fantastic suggestions being sent through.
We’ll be listing the bloggers who help us pick the best inspiration books here on this page and some will also be interviewed too on our social media channels, so you will get to know some of the best creative design minds around.
*COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED*
