A great place to start here then is to look at bathroom accessories. By replacing or add a modern looking set of bathroom accessories you can really change the look and style of your bathroom. If you decide to go down this route then look at getting a matching set of a few items like for instance towel rail holder, soap dish and toilet brush holder. By spending just a few pounds you can add extra sparkle and bring your bathroom back to life.

If you have a little more to spend and need to make slightly bigger changes then have a look at your bathroom taps. Do they look dated or off colour? If so you can replace these relatively cheaply with a new chrome basin tap or bath tap or any other combination that you have in your bathroom.

Lastly, think about either replacing or getting a new bathroom mirror. These can add light and the concept of more space in your bathroom and thus freshen it up. An illuminated mirror is also a funky eye catching option that will add a bit of zing.
