After a hard day at work (or out shopping) there is no better way to de-stress than in a comfortable warm bath. The experience is much more enjoyable if you have a good book and also if the bath meets your needs.
A good bath needs to be sturdy and you also need to be able to fit into it comfortably, if the bath is not a good fit for you then the whole experience of having a bath will be ruined and not enjoyable as it should be.
If your bath is not as good as you would like it to be then consider replacing it for a more modern option. For the ultimate option, look at a freestanding bath. These type of baths are normally best for larger bathrooms and you can get some really fantastic designs that will increase your comfort and also make your bathroom much more stunning.
A great option for a freestanding bath if you are the type of person that likes to lay in the bath for hours is to go for a model that has a built in headrest, at Bathrooms.com you can try the Zone bath or the Clipper bath.
Showers that hit the mark

The shower that I currently have in my bathroom is not very good to put it bluntly. The actual shower enclosure is very ricotty and hasn’t been looked after very well and the shower tray feels like it is going to fall in at any moment. Once inside the shower cubicle, the shower set is dated and takes lots of fiddling around to get a temperature that is suitable.
So where do I start in looking for replacements that both make my bathroom look more modern and also function much better than my current construction? Bathrooms.com have a fantastic range of shower enclosures and also shower sets. I have enough space to fit up to a 900mm enclosure so with the range of sizes and shapes on offer I had quite a difficult choice in the end deciding what style I should choose.
With the enclosure chosen, you then have a selection of shower tray options. Modern trend is to go for a stone tray which are very solid but the more traditional style resin shower trays are very good also as they have steel frames underneath for support.
