The following terms and conditions refer to all Bathrooms.com transactions. As soon as your order is placed, you have accepted these terms and conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected by our terms and conditions.
Product information accuracy
We are always working to ensure that all information published on our website is accurate and up to date. Our manufacturers and suppliers supply all images and product specifications to us. The accuracy or reliability of information contained in these pages cannot be guaranteed and users of this website remain responsible for any actions taken. We reserve the right to amend product specifications without prior notice and, where dimensions are specified, these contain 3% margin either way to allow for manufacturing tolerance.
Our contract and acceptance of your order
When you place an order with Bathrooms.com this represents an offer to purchase products from us. You will be sent an initial e-mail from us confirming receipt of your order. We accept this offer when we have sent the despatch confirmation e-mail. If there were products on your initial order that have not been confirmed as despatched they do not form part of this contract.
Description of goods
All of the product descriptions, images and specifications on Bathrooms.com are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods and are intended as a guide only. Due to the nature of the products we sell, it is not always practical to publish in-depth specifications. We do not accept any responsibility for preparation work carried out that is based on information and specifications provided. We recommend that you wait until you have received the order before making a start on any work.
Payment and price
All prices shown on Bathrooms.com are inclusive of VAT - but exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery charges will be specified at the checkout, unless stated otherwise. The total price payable for the goods will be shown at the time of placing the order.
Availability of goods
The products and/or services that we offer may be withdrawn at any time for any reason, and are always subject to availability. If for any reason we cannot supply the goods, you will not be charged and you will be refunded any monies that may have already been taken.
We accept most of the major credit and debit cards including MasterCard, Switch and Visa. You must provide us with the exact billing address and telephone number. If we receive the incorrect details, your order will be delayed in processing and will only be processed once we have received authorisation of your card.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that are placed for products that are listed at any incorrect price due to typographical errors or incorrect pricing information received from our suppliers, taxes or duty charges.
Bathrooms.com will replace at our discretion, in part or whole, a product which Bathrooms.com has been agreed in writing as being defective in function, materials or workmanship. If the exact model is no longer available from Bathrooms.com, we will endeavour to provide the nearest equivalent from our current range. To be covered by our 10 year guarantee, all products should be installed in accordance with the product installation instructions provided with the product and be for domestic use only. Products must be purchased and installed in the UK and Ireland only. This product guarantee applies to the original purchaser or end user of the goods and therefore this guarantee is non-transferable and takes effect from the date of purchase. The guarantee does not cover damage during fitting, accidental or malicious damage, improper use or negligence, discolouration due to prolonged exposure to sunlight or UV light, including but not limited to general wear and tear. Care should be taken to regularly maintain hinges, toilet seats, light bulbs, shower hoses, cistern fittings and cartridges, where applicable, all of which are covered by a full 12 month guarantee.
We offer several delivery services and prices vary depending on the service you select at the checkout. Delivery charges are not inclusive in the price of the products. You can choose to collect items from us - this way you will not incur any delivery charges.
Terms of guarantee - your satisfaction with our products
If you’re not completely satisfied with the products you receive, you can return them to us for a complete refund. This is subject to our Non-Faulty Products Returns Policy and we must receive notification from you within 28 days of receipt of your goods. You may alternatively request to keep the goods that you have received and get a discount compensation certificate of £50 (subject to your order details).
Please note that all delivery dates that we provide are always provisional. We pride ourselves on the high quality delivery service that we offer and have built a reputation for our timely deliveries. We must stress however that even if you have a confirmed delivery date we strongly advise that you do not pre-book contractors, or engage in any type of preparatory work until you have received all of your goods and are happy that they are both correct as ordered and damage free. We cannot accept any liability whatsoever in respect to late deliveries and time shall not form a part of any order or form part of the contract.
Next day delivery
Goods will be delivered on a pallet for all large next business day deliveries as close to your front door as possible. If your front door is inaccessible for any reason, such as you live in a narrow street or in flats or there is any other obstruction, we will make delivery as near to your property as we possibly can.
Unfortunately our drivers are not insured to take goods inside your property or up any stairs for next day deliveries. Please ensure that 2 able bodied people are available at the time and point of delivery to receive and carry the goods to your desired location.
Whilst we will make every effort possible to achieve next day delivery, we cannot guarantee this service due to unforeseen circumstances that may be beyond our control. In the unlikely event that we make a late delivery we will refund the delivery charge to you. We cannot accept any liability whatsoever in respect to late deliveries and time shall not play a part of any order or form part of the contract. Where we specify next day delivery, this means next working day and does not include weekends or Bank Holidays.
Refusal of Transaction
We reserve the right to remove or edit any content or materials on this website and also to withdraw any products or services at any time. It is our sole discretion to refuse to process a transaction for any reason. Withdrawing any products from this website will not hold us liable to either yourself or any third party whether or not that product has been sold; editing or removing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun. To be eligible to purchase products on this website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this website under English law you must:
- Provide a delivery address that is in the United Kingdom. Please note that hotels, accommodation addresses and PO Box numbers addresses are not deemed as acceptable
- Register by providing us with all of the following information: your name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information
- Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us
- You specifically authorise us to transmit information by making an offer to buy a product. This includes any updated information about your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to validate your credit card, to authenticate your identity, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
Discount compensation certificate
You must inform us in writing (sending an email is not accepted) to receive a discount compensation certificate. Your letter must include your order details and also the reason that you are not completely satisfied with either your products or the service that you have received. We must receive this letter within 7 days of receipt of the goods and, to ensure that we continue to improve our service, the Managing Director will review this. You will then be informed of the steps that we intend to take to ensure that the same issues you have experienced do not happen again. Your discount compensation certificate will be issued subject to an initial order value of £750, which can be used against any future orders over the value of £750 placed with Bathrooms.com. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount certificate or promotion. The discount compensation certificate cannot be exchanged for cash and has no monetary value. Bathrooms.com reserves the right to retract this offer at any time.
The vouchers are subject to the complete order being accepted by the customer. If part or all of the order is returned, the promotional offer shall not apply. If the voucher has already been ordered for you or you have received the voucher, the cost of the voucher will be deducted from the refund amount of the returned item.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the products and wish to return an item (see paragraph 10), you will no longer qualify for the voucher. If the voucher has already been ordered for you or you have received the voucher, the cost of the voucher will be deducted from the refund amount for the returned item.
The voucher will be valid for 12 months from the date you place the order. It is the responsibility of the customer to redeem the voucher with the assigned retailer within the validity period.
Customers qualifying for a promotional voucher will receive it by post within 28 days of the goods being delivered.
A cash alternative is not available.
We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel the promotional voucher offer at any time.
VAT rebate administration charge
There is a £30 charge, to cover administration, for any customers requiring a VAT rebate.
