The Aquadial Combi-Care works by introducing a very small amount of food grade polyphosphate into the water feed, isolating the calcium in the water, and preventing it from forming scale on the heating system. With limescale in your heat exchanger, pipework or immersion heating elements, the water channels become narrower, and storage tanks become less efficient at hot water storage. Additionally, the deposits of limescale drastically shorten your boilers service life. The Aquadial Combi-Care treats the water before it is heated, preventing limescale from forming on the heat exchanger.
